European Research Council Grant for Hellmut Augustin

Recently, Prof. Dr. Hellmut Augustin (DKFZ and Heidelberg University) received a European Research Council Advanced Grant for his Proposal: AngioMature “Mechanisms of vascular maturation and quiescence during development, homeostasis and ageing”. The goal of the AngioMature project is the detailed and mechanistic analysis of vascular maturation and organotypic differentiation programs and the functional consequences of such programs for tissue homeostasis in the adult and adaptation to pathologic challenge as well as changes during aging.
